
The Qualification
This route to Chartered status (MCIOB) is available to construction practitioners who have 5 year’s appropriate management experience in the construction industry. It replaces the Direct Membership Examination route (DMX).
The Process
Part A:
Initial application to the CIOB for entry on to the programme.
Part B:
Study programme for the following modules:
Part C:
The Professional Review. This consists of a candidate report and an interview conducted by the CIOB. We offer workshops to assist with this process.
The Next Programme
Consists of fifteen fortnightly 3-hour evening sessions between October 2008 and June 2009.
We provide focussed, professional tuition to suit the needs of busy construction professionals.
An important aspect is the development of exam technique and analysis of past exam questions.
Tutors
The principal tutor for the programme will be Geoff Rose FCIOB, who has 18 year’s experience of successfully delivering courses for CIOB membership for companies, individuals and colleges.
Specialist tutors will supplement the teaching programme.
